Taking another step forward, you pluck out one of the strange crabs. The crab that you pick up is cranky -- he (or she?) clearly doesn't want to be held by human fingers. The four claws writhe about in a vain attempt to nip your fingers, but your grip is firm and your digits are in no danger of being sliced. Having turned the crab over a few times, you throw it back in to the water where it rejoins others of its kind.
Looking in to the water where the crab was put, you notice that all of the crabs are drifting parallel to the shoreline. There is a strong current apparent.
Head back to the beach where the teleporter pad is located.
Start swimming toward the other island.
